Happy 110th Anniversary...

A Japanese machine manufacturer invited a number of groups from Germany and Russia to visit the home office in Japan. Groups of 30 people then made their way to Japan – one after another. The first destination was Tokyo, where participants spent their first day relaxing in a Japanese hot spring, among other places. They then took the Shinkansen Super Express along the Tokaido coastline towards Nagoya, where they spent three days celebrating the company’s 110th anniversary. Their schedules were filled with a number of daytrips and meetings before re-boarding the Shinkansen to pass by Mount Fuji once more on their way back to Tokyo. There, they had just enough time for a comprehensive tour of the city including the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building, the Ginza and Akihabara districts, the Meiji Shrine, the Asakusa Kannon Temple and a riverboat ride on the Sumido all the way to Hamarikyu Gardens. The last dinner took place on a clear night with a 360-degree view over the rooftops of Tokyo. A buffet that left nothing to be desired to complete a trip that left all participants wanting more.
